How Family-Friendly is Boyne Highlands Resort Michigan?

Harbor Springs’ Boyne Highlands Resort understands Northern Michigan winters. Boyne Highlands’ winter offerings include skiing, snowshoeing, modern technology, and upgraded guest rooms.

Harbor Springs’ Boyne Highlands Resort often reveals its season plans. This includes New Main Lodge guest suites, RFID technology, improved snowmaking and on-slope conditions, Stay & Save, The Enchanted Trail return, and more.

New Main Lodge Luxury Rooms

The resort’s new Main Lodge suites let visitors recover after a day of action this winter. The historic hotel’s 87 guest rooms were extended to be more spacious and transformed into sophisticated and exquisite luxury lodgings that merge traditional English countryside with pure modern form. Deluxe, premium, and suite choices include sitting rooms, sleeper couches, oak closets, and coffee bars with tiny smart refrigerators and Nespresso machines. Marble floor and wall tiles, British fittings, Euro-style toilets, custom-designed lighting mirrors, etc., are in bathrooms.

RFID Allows Fast Chairlift Access

From the 2021/22 season, all lifts at Boyne Highlands will have dual-frequency RFID scanning. RFID allows customers to buy lift tickets or season passes online and reload a media card with more tickets or passes season after season. The resort has numerous new RFID media card pick-up boxes.

On the Slopes

At Boyne Highlands Resort Michigan, five new HKD Impulse tower guns have been added to the snowmaking fleet. Like the resort’s Boyne Low-E fan guns, these ultra-efficient snow cannons make snow at low temperatures. A 12″ well has been installed to increase snowmaking capacity. A new park builder-specific Pistenbully ParkPro 400 will give the resort’s four terrain parks extraordinary features. The Wonder Carpet on North Camelot is replaced with a 300′ Sunkid Covered Conveyor for novices and returning players.

Introducing Stay & Save

Boyne Highlands Resort hotel customers and their families or groups may get 10% off lift tickets this winter. As with any resort lift ticket purchase, early purchasing saves more. Boyne Highlands’ new Stay & Save package offers more flexibility and a benefit discount for resort hotel guests.

Return of Enchanted Trail

Boyne Highlands’ Enchanted Trail is likely to return for another winter. The roughly two-mile round trip hiking or snowshoe track, The Enchanted Track, displays thousands of glittering lights. Participants may take photos and warm up in a decorated yurt or around a campfire at the halfway mark. This includes hot chocolate and s’mores. Tickets are $15–25, and children under two are free. Drink tickets cost extra. With extended holiday periods, this is offered most Thursdays to Sundays in winter. Departures are 5–8:20 p.m.

New Packages for Ski and Boot Rentals

Within Equipment Rental, Boyne Highlands has introduced 135 brand-new HEAD BYS ski and boot packages. The curved skis facilitate simpler turns, and their construction adds stability. The resort has added 35 more of the newest Burton snowboards for riders. All equipment rentals may be scheduled online in advance and can be purchased for a single day or many days.
